How the application fits together
The web app, public links, storage, and background work.
Web application and public routing
The current application uses Next.js with server route handlers and a React dashboard. The public host serves marketing pages and link addresses. The application host serves sign-in, the dashboard, and authenticated application requests.
Storage
PostgreSQL stores accounts, domains, permissions, links, page drafts and published content, uploaded assets, and aggregate metrics. Embedded development storage is not the production database.
Background work
A separate worker handles scheduled hosted tasks and retention. Hosted domain provisioning checks ownership, DNS, routing, and HTTPS readiness before publishing is allowed.
Publishing boundary
A saved page draft is separate from published content. Visitors see the published version. Editing a draft does not silently change a public page.
