Design, download, and test a QR code before printing.
Choose the link first
In Links, choose QR code for the address you want to share. The code points to that Capybara address. Updating a redirect destination or publishing changes to a page keeps the printed code useful.
Make it readable
Choose colors with strong contrast, preserve the quiet space around the code, and avoid a busy background. A logo should remain small enough for scanners to recognize the pattern.
Export and test
Download PNG for a bitmap image or SVG for scalable print artwork. Scan the exported file with more than one phone. Test again at the intended printed size and viewing distance.
Check access restrictions
A password, expiry date, disabled link, or unpublished page can prevent a visitor from reaching the intended content. Scanning the code does not bypass these controls.
