What link analytics records

Understand aggregate analytics, privacy preferences, and the responsibilities of a Capybara Link operator.

Aggregate activity, not a visitor profile

Link analytics keeps daily counters, referring-site hostnames, broad device categories, and bot separation. It does not store visitor IP addresses or fingerprints, and it does not use advertising trackers or analytics cookies. Counts are requests rather than unique people.

Respect browser preferences

Analytics honors Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control. The interactive demo on the marketing page stays in the browser and does not create a hosted page or account.

Account data is a separate responsibility

Authentication, account details, uploaded content, and operational logs have their own privacy and security considerations. Aggregate link analytics does not mean the entire service stores no personal data.

Choose retention and explain it

The operator configures analytics retention, registration, backups, and privacy information. Users can export their account data and request account deletion through the app. Read the instance’s privacy notice for its current policy.
